Empowering Communities and Protecting Women: Al-Talla Initiative Concludes Activities in Kutum Locality with Support from the Future Stars Center
As part of ongoing efforts to enhance community resilience and provide protective frameworks for vulnerable groups, the Al-Talla Initiative for Sustainable Development—with the support of the Future Stars Center for Development and Capacity Building (FSC)—has successfully implemented a comprehensive package of training programs and humanitarian activities in Kutum Locality, North Darfur.
The initiative focused on building the capacities of women and girls while raising legal and rights awareness. Key components of the program included:

Legal and Human Rights Education: Conducting specialized sessions on the principles of International Humanitarian Law, monitoring and documentation systems, and early warning mechanisms.

Combating Violence and Community Awareness: Addressing critical issues such as Gender-Based Violence (GBV), combating harmful practices like child marriage and Female Genital Mutilation (FGM), and fostering a culture of self-protection.

Dignity Support: Distributing dignity kits to targeted beneficiaries to meet urgent personal needs and alleviate the daily economic and psychological hardships faced by women affected by the current crisis.
